The workflow

Sometimes there’s not much to do in post except turn it into a black-and-white shot. Maybe brighten the face of the subject a little? Sometimes you get the exposition just right and you just need to highlight a few dark corners here and there. It’s really the point of taking a picture: trying to get it just right on the spot, on the field in camera. //

Parfois, il n’y a pas grand-chose à faire en post-traitement, à part la transformer en photo noir et blanc. Peut-être éclaircir un peu le visage du sujet ? Parfois, on obtient l’exposition parfaitement à la prise de vue et il suffit seulement de mettre en valeur quelques coins sombres ici et là. C’est vraiment ça, le but de prendre une photo : essayer de l’obtenir parfaitement sur le moment, sur le terrain, directement dans l’appareil.
