The workflow

Summer fun. What’s more, summer vacation at the pool? The scene together is summer, the surrounding greens, the blue pool, the kids in the middle. My composition is fairly symmetrical. I chose a filmic, slightly nostalgic feel with the Kodak Portra 400 simulation as a finishing touch. On the original, I underexposed, or rather I exposed for the highlights, looking for every detail, as well as doing some cropping and straightening to help out the composition. //

Plaisirs d'été. Quoi de mieux que des vacances d'été à la piscine ? La scène incarne l'été : les verts environnants, la piscine bleue, les enfants au centre. Ma composition est assez symétrique. J'ai opté pour un rendu cinématographique légèrement nostalgique avec la simulation Kodak Portra 400 en touche finale. Sur l'original, j'ai sous-exposé, ou plutôt, j'ai exposé pour les hautes lumières, cherchant à capturer chaque détail, ainsi qu'à effectuer un recadrage et un redressement pour améliorer la composition.
