The workflow

As I mentioned before, Saul Leiter is marking my photography more and more, and one of the tenets of his photography is the reflection. To me, it’s like reestablishing your subject into another dimension, another space. Like here, surrender by a touch of yellow and grey, walking towards the viewer from the abyss. It’s reality walking into the abstract or vice versa. Now, it’s nothing new in photography, but you have to make sure there’s a certain coordination between the two worlds.//

Comme je l’ai déjà mentionné, Saul Leiter influence de plus en plus ma photographie, et l’un des principes de sa photographie est le reflet. Pour moi, c’est comme rétablir votre sujet dans une autre dimension, un autre espace. Comme ici, entouré d’une touche de jaune et de gris, marchant vers le spectateur depuis l’abîme. C’est la réalité qui pénètre dans l’abstrait ou l’inverse. Maintenant, ce n’est rien de nouveau en photographie, mais il faut s’assurer qu’il y ait une certaine coordination entre les deux mondes.
