So here I was at the Jean-Talon Market in the middle of winter with my little 50mm lens, and I spotted this very cosy bird feasting on the fresh produce without paying! I could not get any closer for fear I would scare it away and blow my picture. In the post-processing, I tried to underline it as much as possible in this sea of colours by darkening around it as much as possible while still keeping the sense of the market. I tried also to up the texture and structure on the bird to make it more visible. I would have cropped even more, but with 26MP available to me, you might lose details on the bird, and also you lose the context. //
Alors, me voici au Marché Jean-Talon en plein hiver avec mon petit objectif de 50mm, et j'ai repéré cet oiseau très confortable festoyant sur les produits frais sans payer ! Je ne pouvais pas m'approcher davantage de peur de l'effrayer et de gâcher ma photo. Pendant le post-traitement, j'ai essayé de le souligner autant que possible dans cette mer de couleurs en assombrissant autour de lui autant que possible tout en gardant le sens du marché. J'ai aussi essayé d'augmenter la texture et la structure sur l'oiseau pour le rendre plus visible. J'aurais recadré encore plus, mais avec 26MP à ma disposition, on risquerait de perdre des détails sur l'oiseau, et également de perdre le contexte.
